How do I become a Resin fundraising partner?

It’s easy! Start by signing up at https://app.raisewithresin.com/ using the email address of the main contact for your fundraiser. Once signed up, just reach out to us with that email and let us know the group you're fundraising for. You can contact us however is easiest for you:

What email should I use to sign up?

Use the email address of the main point of contact for the fundraiser. This is the account we’ll use to stay in touch, and it will also be responsible for managing and cashing out the funds.

Can Resin recycle the cans and bottles at my upcoming event?

Absolutely! We love to help with event recycling. Just reach out to us to borrow bins and discuss how we can make recycling at your event a success!

Can I borrow collection bins for my next event?

Yes, we have bins available for events! Just reach out to us to check their availability and make arrangements.

What sort of bins do I need for ongoing collection?

Use any containers of your choice. Consider any liquids and the weight of a container when it’s full. We have done extensive user research to create graphics that reduce confusion about recycling guidelines . We recommend you print these out and tape them to your bins to help participants understand what is accepted and where it should go.

Should my volunteers create their own accounts?

Yes! As a Resin fundraising partner you’ll be able to create a Referral Link so each volunteer can have their own account and automatically donate their recycling rewards to you. Learn more about Referral Linking here.

How do I transport items to the Resin Station?

Recruit volunteers to transport your cans and bottles to your nearest Resin Recycling Station. The station is self serve and open 24/7 so they can drop off whenever it fits into their schedule.

Do I need to have a pickup truck?

Any sort of vehicle will do. We’ve had customers drop off 50 pounds of cans in the back of a sedan.

How do I raise awareness about my fundraiser ?

Check out the fundraise tab at app.raisewithresin.com. After you create an event you’ll see a variety of sharing options using the “share” button on your event. Drop us an email if you’d like to get your fundraiser reposted on our social channels.

Do I need to be a 501(c)(3) to do a fundraiser with Resin?

There is no requirement to be a 501(c)(3) organization.
